One Impact
Coming together, one community at a time.
A national call to action for healthcare boards and senior leaders to accelerate, align with others, and scale efforts to address the social determinants of health at the local and regional level.
Our One Impact campaign is focusing on the financial health
of our patients and communities.

Why financial health?
Today’s healthcare organizations are challenged by complex problems that didn’t arrive yesterday and are not going away tomorrow. The problems have at their core an array of drivers, what we call social determinants of health, and emerging
payment models are slow to provide appropriate incentives for hospital investment in such activities. Focus and scale is needed to produce measurable impacts. As such, we propose to leverage research, data, and experience from the
work of our partners to facilitate and coordinate an aligned strategy across competitive and sector lines in targeted regions across the country. Bringing focus to one of the key social determinants of health offers
considerable potential to produce measurable results at scale. A parallel focus on a common platform of local/regional advocacy will help to drive towards actions in the policy arena that will help to anchor and sustain positive results
at the community level.
One Impact aims:
1.
Facilitate and replicate programs and policies that work.
2.
Develop specific action steps for boards and senior leaders to remove barriers to collaborative action, accelerate progress, and integrate SDOH efforts into strategic planning, culture, and the core of the healthcare business model.
3.
Enable competitors to learn from each other and link arms in the advocacy space to shape policy and payment models, especially at the regional and local levels.
