The Governance Institute offers research services for its members on a broad spectrum of governance, leadership, and healthcare topics.

Members have the ability to submit custom research requests in order to become more informed on industry trends, best practices, and other issues of interest. The Governance Institute uses a variety of research methods to collect information, data, and perspective to help address research topics. These include:

  • Collecting feedback from our Member Editorial Board, comprised of healthcare organization CEOs and presidents
  • Collecting feedback from our Governance Support Editorial Board, comprised of directors of governance, executive assistants, and governance support staff
  • Polling our membership base
  • Surveying specific member cohorts such as large health systems, academic medical centers, physician CEOs, foundation boards, and senior living organizations
  • Conducting research calls with topical experts and subject matter experts
  • Publication and literature reviews
