2016 Healthcare Leadership Conference Series Kicks Off in January

The Governance Institute hosts conference focusing on physician integration, restructuring governance strategies, and decoding myths behind the healthcare consumer.

December 22, 2015 (San Diego, CA) —The Governance Institute, a service of National Research Corporation, is pleased to kick off its 2016 Leadership Conference Series January 17 – 20 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples in Naples, Florida. Event speakers include healthcare leaders, physicians, university faculty members, and leading consulting firms. Attendees include board chairs, board members, healthcare executives, and physicians. Featured presentations explore topics such as understanding value-based healthcare, connecting philanthropy with governance strategy, integrating physicians in a healthcare culture, understanding the role of the consumer, and much more. Steven J. Zach Griffin, General Manager of The Governance Institute, said this year’s conference series is built upon the momentum the series experienced in 2015. “Governance leaders, executives, and physician leaders are strategically coming together and making shifts to advance healthcare in a consumer-driven direction with a high return on value. Our 2016 series continues down this path with topics focused on facilitating change beyond strategic planning,” Griffin said.  

Other renowned presenters include Robert M. Wachter, M.D., of the University of California, San Francisco, Rulon F. Stacey, Ph.D., FACHE of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and Brian J. Silverstein, M.D., a national healthcare expert in population health management and healthcare business models and provider systems.
